"The Breidenbacher Hof Hotel is located on the fashionable Königsalle in Düsseldorf, Germany. The hotel's restaurant reopened in the spring of 2020 with a completely new look, menu, and name. The Duchy is named for the Duchy of Berg (a nod to the city's history) but also conjures images of a chic, worldly female character whose inspirations include the Duchess of Windsor, Diana Vreeland, and Capote's Swans (with a touch of Marie Antoinette). The Gorgeous Group in London was brought on to create a branding story for the new restaurant and asked me to visualize The Duchy in thirteen scenarios for a guide called "How to Live the Life of the Duchy."
